Swan river sunset | Perth city wedding photography

Having photographed several other weddings where Kate has been bridesmaid or in attendance with Lachlan (in fact did I tell the story about how Kate caught the flower bouquet at the last wedding??! I think I did??), anyway-I have gotten to know this family quite well. So come wedding day for Kate and lachlan it was like walking into a friends parents house and everything felt rather familiar, It’s a nice feeling!

It was a fresh July day but the weather was perfect! It started off at the family’s Church in Melville (also familiar!) and we went by the Preston street Jetty for some bridal party photos on route to the city for the reception. The most calm beautiful water with an amazing Perth sunset, I was one extremely happy wedding photographer!

With a little time up our sleeves we ventured over to the city for a couple of fun shots before we walked into the reception at Metro Bar and Bistro.
