Why I love branding shoots!
Photographing people for me has always been about connection. As a small business owner myself, I love elevating someones brand. From 11 years being in business I have learnt YOU ARE YOUR BRAND. So you need to be seen, and heard, and celebrated for being you.
No one else is you, and that is your power. But I know this doesn't always translate in photos- why? Because having your photo taken can be SCARY, we put up our walls and its hard to be photographed how we see ourselves in our comfort zone. So the answer is to be in your comfort zone :)
And this is where I come in! I'm unabashadley proud to say I make people feel comfortable, even in your most vulnerable state-in front of a camera. Its my super power, and I'm up for any challenge. I hand on my heart think everyone deserves photos of themselves that you LOVE. You deserve that but also, so does your business.
No generic confetti throwing or "what everybody else is doing" here. You came here to stand out against your competitors yes?

This particular shoot was with a dance teacher, she wanted a range of different looks to help promote herself on socials and to be able to use the images over a long period of time. The aim - to look professional and approachable.
I will also get a behind scenes reel for you (or something you would like to create for your content!) while we are shooting.

behind scenes at a branding shoot
I want you to arrive your chosen location 10 minutes before your shoot start time so you are completely relaxed by the time we start your shoot. I KNOW it can feel like a lot to get ready, but pre-planning will make your shoot run so smoothly and get the most out of our time together.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR Branding SHOOT
I suggest you bring tools of the trade, or any props that directly relate to your brand, service, or product (without the cheesey vibes.)
We keep shooting til we've covered all the shots you need, and all the ones i think will be great for content too. I'll also film a reel for you - everything is content :)

I will direct your shoot accordingly based on your needs and desires outlined in your questionnaire. I will always direct you how to be in the best light, and give you plenty of direction so you feel completely comfortable- I find this results in the most natural beautiful photos that most people are after.

The editing process for me is very personalised to each shoot and every single image you purchase gets full individual attention, and while it is a very time consuming part of the process I love watching an image come to life.
My editing style is timeless and focussed on natural skin tones and simply enhancing the colours in the frame.
I don't edit to change how you look dramatically but happy to edit things like pimples or bruises that wouldn't normally be there.
