I'm Jasmine Skye, and I’ve been building my photography business since 2012, blending my background as a paediatric nurse with my passion for real moments, genuine connection, and artful storytelling.

I understand how to navigate lighting, emotion, and technical challenges in very different contexts, and I can teach you not just the “how,” but the “why” behind every creative decision.

2. Underwater Photography Specialisation

Underwater is where I found my IKIGAI - it’s what truly lights me up. Its incredibly challenging but thats what i also love about it.

 I started it in 2016, built a home pool studio, and went on to win international recognition (like the 2024 Underwater Photographer of the Year in the B&W category).

I know that life is busy. That’s why I offer:

In-person mentoring, if you’re local (Perth or when I travel) - to shoot together, learn hands-on, and get real-time feedback. I offer 1:1 mentoring as well as occasional group workshops "Submerge".

Online mentoring, for photographers anywhere in the world - through Zoom calls, video reviews, and tailored teaching.

A self-paced Underwater Portrait Fundamentals Course - a ready-to-go program where you can learn technical skills, safety, posing, and creative direction at your own pace.

Before photography became my full-time passion, I was a paediatric nurse-that experience taught me empathy, patience, and how to make people feel safe - qualities I bring into my mentoring.
