The Rock’s Yandina wedding | Sunshine Coast wedding
So I first met Karen about 13 years ago, I was share housing in Brisbane and we became housemates and instant friends. Due to moving interstate to Perth, we obviously don’t catch up as much as we would like but we have always kept in touch (one of those forever friends).
So when Karen asked the question so do you want to be a guest or do you want to be my photographer, I couldn’t have been more excited to say yes to being their photographer. This is a grey area, sometimes I do just want to be a guest as it’s so rare. But for this particular girl, I wanted to share those intimate moments for every step along the way as I knew how much this day meant to her.
Knowing Karen well I knew this day would be perfectly planned and organised and I wasn’t wrong, it was an absolutely beautiful day and went off without a hitch!
The ceremony was at the stunning Pt Arkwright (literally across the road from their house!), and the wedding reception was at The Rock’s Yandina.
It was such an honour to document this day, and I absolutely loved the change of scenery for wedding locations! East coast, you are ridiculously spoilt for choice- I’m so keen to photograph more weddings on the east side!
